I love the way my flower garden looks in June! So many things are blooming now. These are some of my yellow daylillies that are in need of dividing! Ignore my shadow!

I just planted these cala lillies about 3 weeks ago. My neighbor gave me about 6 of these and I didn't expect them to bloon this year. They have such a subtle bloom with just the faintest pink color. I think they are a beautiful flower.

I love these white tipped fuschia petunias in my strawyberrry pot. And yes, I turned it over on purpose. You would not believe how many people flip the pot upright when they come to visit.

And finally my hollyhocks that are huge. They are "black" and are spreading everywhere in my garden. I also planted some pink ones this year but they have not bloomed.
I hope everyone has a blessed day!
Linda

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog, from PEA's. And especially thank you for leaving a comment. Otherwise, how would I know? :-)))
Mmmm... and you are a fan of dear Gladys Taber. How about that?!? Over the years, I collected about all her books from the Stillmeadow/Still Cove years. Hope you have some also. I'm sure you do!

oh very pretty photos! I like the way you've put the plant pot on it's side with flowers growing out of it :-)
ReplyDeleteI had to giggle when you mentioned your tipped pot and how people keep straightening it up...I have one in my faerie garden that I have tipped on the side and everyone keeps telling me I have a pot that's fallen on it's side! lol Your flowers are looking so beautiful and I especially love the Calla Lily...gorgeous!! xox
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to tip your straw
ReplyDeleteberry pot! I can't resist using broken pots in the garden and have something flowers spill out of them! Lovely garden! hugs NG
I love your tipped strawberry pot! Your hollyhocks are gorgeous..what a rich color!

Your cala lilies and hollyhocks are beautiful; that black color is gorgeous! I got tickled at your tipped pot dilemma. I think I could spend hours wandering around your garden. :o)
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us your garden. All your flowers and plants are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers, and I LOVE the petunias growing out of the side of the strawberry pot. So clever and charming! I wish my hollyhocks did as well as yours do. They bloom their little hearts out, but the leaves always look bad with that rust they get on them. I'll be back to visit your blog often!

Thank you for sharing your lovely flowers!
ReplyDeleteI adore that dark hollyhock. I planted one this year, and then accidentally broke off the tip with the buds on it. I'm hoping it has time to put up another. Memo to self..be careful when watering..LOL
