Speaking of days getting cool, here is the pumpkin swap I sent to my swap partner on a holiday message board I am a member of. I made the pumpkin tote bag, the bracelet, and the pocket treat bag.

I absolutely love the hot cocoa mix. It has the "Peanuts" characters on it and when you pour hot water into it, it turns orange! I really love Halloween. I know many people who do not celebrate because it is supposedly a Pagan holiday, but I celebrate it just for the fun of dressing up and getting candy!
Hope everyone has a great week!
Blessings
Linda

I love your pumpkin items for the swap. Looks like a lot of fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteI wish I weren't such a chicken! the pic's of the wake boarding and cliff jumping look like so much fun. But, you wouldn't find me doing that stuff. :0)
I love this time of year too. I love taking in the last picnics and days outdoors, while its still beautiful and warm.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about you the other day when they were talking on the news about hurricanes heading up the east coast. I can see by your picture that you weren't bothered by the stormy weather. Good news.

I always get a chuckle out of religious people who frown on some customs, etc., as Pagan. Don't they know who had the Christmas Tree, way before Christians? Etc. Etc. -smile- So silly to be so close-minded.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the celebration of the changing Seasons, and Halloween is part of that.

My best friend and her husband, who are youth leaders, have never let their boys celebrate Halloween, and I respect that, but I don't agree, either. I am not worshipping Satan, or enticing demons or anything like that--I just love to entertain the neighborhood kidlets! (And their parents. 8^) )
ReplyDeleteJumping from those cliffs looks a little too thrilling for me!
ReplyDeleteBTW...thanks for your visit.
What a fun swap package--I'm sure your partner will be tickled! I think that Peanuts hot cocoa is my favorite too. I'll have to keep a lookout for it!
ReplyDeleteLooking at your pictures of having fun in the water brought back so many memories for me...growing up, we had a camp near the water and my older brothers were forever diving off huge rocks or water skiing:-) What a fun package you made up for that Halloween Swap, I've no doubt the receiver will love it! Like you, I also love Halloween:-) I'm hosting my annual Halloween Swap again this year...will be announcing it on my blog real soon! xoxo
