Friday Show and Tell

Kelli over at http://kellishouse.blogspot.com/ hosts Show and Tell each Friday. Click on over to her blog and join the fun.
This week I would like to show you a few of my favorite pins. (Sorry for the bad photos, not use whats wrong with my camera.)

The silver angel and the back onyx pins belonged to my great grandmother. My Grandmother gave them to me for my 16th birthday.

This pin really isn't too old, but it is one of my very favorite. It can be worn as a pin or a necklace. It belonged to my mom, who passed away in 1977. She got it at a Sarah Coventry Jewelry party. Anyone remember those?
The cameo, black filigree, silver leaf, and etched amythest pins I picked up at yard sales and auctions.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Blessings
Linda

  6. Lovely jewelry. Yes, I remember Sarah Coventry very well. My mother-in-love sold it and I had quite a few pieces. I gave it all away a few years ago. Now I wish I'd hung on to it to show!!! It was very nice costume jewelry.

  8. Beautiful pins! I love the one you received from your Grandma. I loved it when my Grandma would give me something of hers for a gift - it means so much more to me now.

  11. those are great, Linda. I remember Sarah Coventry, but I haven't seen any for many years. I can't see the one on the lower right very well. It is like a tie tack? I just love these old pieces. Thanks for sharing them.
Linda, If you get over to SDQ will you pass along the word that I can't get in there today. I have an email in to Phillip. It asked for my Password, and I don't have a clue!
    thank you my dear.

  18. I own lots of Sarah Coventry.
They were well known for their
home jewelry parties 1949 to 1984.
The onyx pin and cupid pin are
    very lovely. Probably Victorian.
