It is winter after all. But the day before this snow event I was out in the garden tilling in shorts and a short sleeve shirt! Gotta love the weather in Virginia, if you don't like it just wait a minute... it will change!
Trying to get the perfect photo before the dog "tracks" the snow is impossible!
Backyard
The Pool Garden. The day before I was weeding, getting up winter debris and admiring my blooming crocus and daffodils!
The snow falling off the dome of the pool house looks like slices of pie! Snow pie!
The "people eating" Holly. It's too big and is covering the front walk. But my Grandaddy planted it and I won't let DH cut it. So you either walk around or take your chances trying to squeeze by it.
Backyard fence.
Oh well, it's supposed to be back up into the upper 60's by Thursday!
Have a great President's Day!

That second shot is gorgeous. The weather folks were saying we would get the same storm, but apparently it flew below us (what is the world coming to when the teenager is okay with missing a snowstorm?). I understand it was the heavy wet stuff, the kink that knocks out electric - err, I'll pass.
I love your pictures. That is was we say here about the weather.

So pretty! Hope that it is long gone by now and that you're back able to do tasks in the yard.
