The first one is my cape that I had told ya'll I was making. It is from brown cordoroy that I got at the thrift shop for $1.00!
It was very easy to make and fits so well! The pattern shows where you can make them in fleece, so I am going to try that too.
Secondly I want to show you the great and wonderful things that I received from Stephanie from http://nightquilter.blogspot.com/. This was from Peas Halloween swap.
Oh My Goodness! I was jumping around the kitchen like a kid at Christmas! There was a carvable pumpkin and the tools to carve it, scrapbook papers, Halloween buttons, leaf hooks, a ceramic tea light pumpkin, Halloween votives with the orange & black candles, a glow in the dark pumpkin candle, a Boo hand towel, a black frame, a flickering pumpkin light, a glow in the dark skeleton pen, a glittery (and I love glitter!) BEWARE sign, an iron on "ghouls night out", some autumn spice mix and some Hybiscus seeds from her very own garden! I was so excited! Thank you Stephanie! I love it all!
Head over to http://kellishouse.blogspot.com and join the fun.
We are going to a pumpkin carving party tomorrow and I can't hardly wait. There will be good food, good fun, and great friends. Who could ask for anything more!
Have a great weekend
Blessings
Linda

Absolutely love your cape. It looks beautiful. Great job.
You are such a lucky girl. The gift your received for your swap is so fun. You can tell she took a great deal of time puting it together for you. Really nice.
Happy Halloween.
Take care,
Connie
Oh Linda! Your cape is gorgeous! You did a fantastic job on it and it must really make you feel good to have only spent $1.00 on the fabric...amazing! And what fun receiving all the halloween goodies! I can only imagine the excitement going through it all! Blessings and Smiles!
A cape, for a buck!!! I'm in awe!!!
Your cape is great! You certainly got lots of goodies from your swap partner!
:)
That cape looks wonderful. :D
Linda, I'm so glad you liked the booty! I wasn't sure what you'd like til I saw your "I Love Halloween" post, and I breathed a sigh of relief. The little battery powered light is the only kind you can put in a foam pumpkin--I guess because it doesn't get as hot. I forgot to put my note in the box! lol
Love the cape! Nice job!
Corduroy for $1.00 That's an awesome cape and the fleece one will be warm and cozy.
You received beautiful gifts for the Halloween swap. Looks like you're having a lot of fun with the items she sent. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
Wow! Your cape looks beautiful!
I so love that cape you made!! That's one thing I've never worn but I bet they would be comfortable. Oh wow, Stephanie certainly did send you a fabulous Halloween Swap parcel...look at all those wonderful goodies:-) I'm just waiting for a few more to receive their parcels and then I can say that my Halloween Swap was a huge success!! xoxo

Aren't blog swaps just the greatest! I too was treated to a wonderful box of goodies from a fall swap from a blogger and I felt like a kid at Christmas also! Enjoy your goodies!
That is a geogeous cape. I cannot believe you got the fabric for $1.00. You are lucky. I enjoy sewing but do not have much time for it lately.
You did a beautiful job of your cape. It looks like it hangs so nice.
Good job on the deal of fabric.
