Would it be a delicious Hershey bar or the much coveted BB Bat taffy stick? Or one of those yucky orange and black molasses chews? Perhaps Bazooka bubble gum and a Tootsie pop?
I loved getting those bags and would save the bags until my mom would clean my room and pitch them away.
I decided to make treat bags for all the employees of our company this year. I purchased clear plastic treat bags and made the cardstock toppers for them.
If was so much fun to put together all the fun elements for these little treat bags.
Yummy candy inside, Milk Duds, Reese's Cups, M&M's, Fruit snacks, etc...
But no nasty molasses chews!
Blessings
Linda

Such lucky receivers of these fun-filled bags of Halloween delights! And you're right. getting those bags was the best part of trick-or-treating. Just wished I had saved them.
So happy I found your blog (from you visiting mine!). I'm following you now and hope you'll return and follow mine:)

This is so nice! Who wouldn't want to receive one of these thoughtful treat bags!? Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Love your blog. Thanks for visiting mine <3
Oooohhh, you've a Halloween loving gal after my own heart! I remember those (usually) awesome treat bags, too, and how much I enjoyed receiving them. The mystery of what hide inside was so much fun!
I think it's wonderful that you carried on this fun tradition for your employees. I'm sure they loved the nostalgia the bags brought back as much as your post did for me.
Happy countdown to Halloween, my dear!

Oh my goodness, your co-workers will love these treat bags. I don't care how old we are, everyone enjoys those special acts of kindness. Are those treats in a Longaberger basket? I have to admit to a weakness for them but haven't bought any for years now. Thanks for your visit to my blog. I love my little bats but they are about as 'creepy' as I get. I am a mostly pumpkins and colored leaves girl. Thanks for your visit.
Linda...was so happy to see you pop by my blog!! Hope all is well with you and your family. I sure do miss the forum that Kelli managed. Such sweet ladies and so much encouragement!!
I love the candy bags and the Longaberger basket!
