A Confession, Sorta

I am not a person who procrastinates. If I have a job to do, I get it done as soon as possible or it will drive me crazy thinking about it. I also have very little patience with people who put things off until the last minute.

That being said, I decided at the beginning of the year to do the quilt block of the month at Debbie Mumm's website. http://www.debbiemumm.com/ I mean anyone can do 1 quilt block a month, come on that should be really easy. 30 days to do one block.

So here is my January block: Here is my February block:Here is my March block:

Hmmmm. That doesn't look finished does it? Let's check out the April and May blocks:

Hmm. I don't see anything do you?

As you can see (or not) I am now 4 months behind!!!! How did this happen???? I know. When it starts getting warmer outside, I have a problem staying indoors. But, really I should have enough time at night to work on these a little, shouldn't I? So this is going to be my pet project for the next week. I am determined to get caught up on this. Hopefully by December I will have all my blocks ready to make the small quilt that I plan to use for a wall hanging. Hopefully this year!

Blessings

Linda

Wow. this is going to be beautiful. You'll get there! Never fear. You'll go on a binge and get them all done. That's what happens to me, anyway.

Those blocks are beautiful. I have the same problem as you, when In the spring and summer months my time is spent outside, but during the fall and winter when the weather turns wet and cold, you will find fabric scraps and sewing notions strung from the sewing machine to the bathroom! I am a little messy to say the least but I sure have fun! LOL

What pretty blocks you have started!

I am usually one who gets things crossed off her lists pretty quickly. I don't like things hanging over my head either but sometimes I procrastinate on a certain project and drive myself nuts. I decided to blame it on the full moon or the tides and take some heat off myself! LOL

hugs, Linda
