Sunday I went to see my Grandmother and we had a great time walking around her yard looking at her flowers. She has the prettiest tiger lillies. I happened to catch a visitor checking out the lillies too. Her butterflies are almost tame around her. She can reach out and touch their wings and they don't fly away. My favorite of her flowers are these ornamental peppers. She has them in purple and white, but the purple are my favorite! I have some growing from some seeds she saved for me, but mine haven't bloomed yet. She is fretting about them some because she was sure she had planted some red ones too. Maybe she gave me the red seed. We shall see. Not much time to post this afternoon as the tomatoes in the garden are calling my name!
Have a blessed evening.

Beautiful Tiger Lilies. They were my sister's main flower when she got married ... I still associate them with that even 25 years later! :o)
What an amazing shade of purple on those peppers! Gorgeous ... I do hope your's come in (and don't turn out red - lol).
Love those Tiger Lily's in your Grandma's garden. I've never seen the ornamental peppers before. Great colorspot :)

The Tiger Lilies are beautiful! I admire alll these lovely gardens so much. I'm just a little envious of the green thumbs so many bloggers seem to have!
Gorgeous flowers, I love the colour combinations of the two!
The lillies are so pretty and the butterfly on one just makes a perfect picture! I have never ever heard of ornamental peppers....wow...they are gorgeous!! I'll have to look into finding some seeds somewhere.

Beautiful garden-love those purple peppers.
Wish I could tame my butterflies-some do land on me for a second or so.
