This past weekend, we started getting the Christmas decorations down from the attic. We are having an open house the first week of December so I started my decorating.
Usually this hutch in my kitchen holds cookbooks, depression glass, jadeite, etc.. various kitchen stuff. This year I decided to make a Christmas display inside. I removed most of the glass ware, leaving some to the green depression glass, because green is a "Christmasy" color. I took some more detailed photos that I will share a little later. I have gotten 3 trees up, and have two more to go. Isn't that ridiculous? But I love Christmas trees!
What should I put on the doors of the hutch? For some reason they seem bare, or unfinished. Do you think a holiday dishtowel, or maybe cover the glass with stencils?
Have you seen these? They are so cute. Little ornament shaped bottles of coke. I picked up three last night at Wa!mart and we drank them with our supper. They would be so cute for a childs Christmas party.
Hope everyone has a blessed day!

These are adorable!! My oldest son loves Coke. I am going to get him one.
I can't tell much about the hutch, (my computer's going dark), but could you hang candy canes from the handles? Something that won't block the view inside, or maybe red tassles?
Hmmmm, what to do....
I don't know about kids, but I know Coke collectors who will want to have some. Thanks for the heads up.

Lovely Christmas decorations. We have seen several homes in our area already decorated on the outside for Christmas. Down came Halloween and up came Christmas.
I so love all the decorations in your hutch...as for what to put on the door handles, how about making little red bows for them? Those coke ornament bottles are so darling, I hadn't seen them before!! xox
Have fun with your decorating . . . I always feel like I'm seeing old friends when I start bringing things out of boxes *s*
Your hutch looks so festive! Mine is still in all the fall colors for Thanksgiving. You are getting a good jump start on your Christmas decorating.
Love those little coke ornaments. Kids would love them!

What a sweet display! I love those little bottles of coke, I hope our Walmart gets them in? Haven't seen them yet!
Christmas decorations (with businesses) go up out here by the middle of November. We get ours out the weekend after Thanksgiving. It's always such a fun time.

I've never seen such cute coke bottles but I would bet that they are for sale here in Germany, too! But you won't hang them on your tree, will you? lol!
